In 2016, Don José Cuevas and his family opened La Aguila Market in Westminster, building on more than 30 years of food-industry experience.
Where it began
A family dream supported by the neighborhood.
After the difficult years surrounding the Great Recession, Don José saw an opportunity to build a market of his own. Experience gave him the confidence to begin, and community support helped the family’s new dream grow.
From the beginning, the family focused on quality and freshness, dependable meat cuts, prepared food with familiar flavors, and personal service.
